 Sizing

Before placing your order we strongly recommend that you check your size against the chart below. The measurements listed in the chart refer to the body measurement that the given size is intended to fit.

The actual size of the garment will vary according to the nature of the design. For example a medium corset that is intended to be worn tight will correspond almost exactly to the body measurement listed. On the other hand, a coat that is designed to be worn over other garments will be cut a few inches larger than the body measurement to allow for ease of fit.

If you are in doubt about which size to order, email your measurements to us, we will check them against the actual garment and advise further.

If our standard sizes are not suitable for you, we do offer a couture service on selected designs. We are also able to offer a basic alteration service on some items in our standard range.

 Mens Sizing

 Our mens coats and waistcoats are sold by chest size. The size of the garment will vary according to the nature of the design, for example, a size 38" waistcoat will be smaller than a size 38" coat. The coat is intended to be worn over other garments and is therefore cut larger.

Jeans sizes refer to the waistband size. The waistband of a size 34" pair of jeans will measure exactly 34". If you are in doubt about what size to order, simply measure the waist of a pair of jeans that fit you comfortably and order the same size.

Swatch Service

We do our best to ensure that our photography accurately reflects the fabric colours, however we have no control over the settings of your monitor, therefore the shade that you see on screen may not always be an accurate representation of the garment. Shades will also vary slightly between dye batches.

We can send you fabric swatches for most of the designs featured. If you would like to see a swatch of fabric prior to ordering please contact the UK studio.

Ordering

The simplest way to place your order is via the online shop. We accept most credit / debit cards and Paypal. Please be assured that our order pages are fully secure and your credit card & personal information is safe. Orders placed online are cleared automatically and forwarded directly to the studio for processing by our staff.

We accept any of the following payment methods: Credit / Debit cards, Paypal, UK Postal Orders, Personal Cheques (UK Sterling or Euros only)

 Returns

All of our garments are manufactured to the highest possible standards using only top quality fabrics and trimmings. It is highly unlikely that you will receive a substandard garment from our studios.
However we do appreciate that shopping long distance can sometimes be difficult. Before you order we recommend that you double check your size against our size chart. If you are still in doubt, or you would like more information regarding the fit of a specific garment, please contact us. We are more than happy to offer accurate and honest advice.

If you receive an item that is simply not right for you, then we do offer a comprehensive returns service.

If you would like to exchange your item for an alternative garment or a credit note, please return it unworn within seven days of receipt. Please state the problem with the garment and what you would like to exchange it for. Don’t forget to include your customer details.

If you do not want an alternative item and require a refund, then you must contact us within three days of your parcel being signed for. We will then give you a return code.

Please Note: Any items returned without obtaining a return code will not be eligible for a refund and a credit note will be issued.
You can contact us by telephone or email. If you have not received a response within 24 hours then please try again.

When returning a garment please fold it neatly and package securely. Ensure that when you post it, a signature is required on receipt.
We will not accept returns on items that are sent back: crumpled up, have deodorant marks, pet hair or smell strongly of smoke or perfume.

Returns information for overseas customers - The following information must be adhered to if you are returning items to us. To avoid Customs charges upon receipt you are required to state clearly on the outside of the package the following statement:

"TEMPORARY EXPORT Item returned to manufacturer for repair / replacement"

Failure to state this could incur import duties. We will refuse parcels with import duties attached to them and insist they are returned to the sender.

We do not accept returns on any custom made items. Sale items may be returned for exchange or credit only. We do not offer refunds on sale goods.

Re-Stocking Fees
Please note that we reserve the right to charge a Re-Stocking fee to customers who we believe are abusing the returns policy. Repeated returns from a single order will be subject to a 20% charge. You will be notified in writing if subsequent returns are to incur a fee.
